Everything you need to know about Crafting Focus — regeneration limits, mastery efficiency scaling, and silver return optimization.
Crafting Focus is an energy resource that allows crafters and refiners to significantly increase their Resource Return Rate (RRR) and chance of high item quality (Good, Outstanding, Excellent, Masterpiece). In refining, Focus boosts the return rate in specialty cities from 36.7% up to 53.9%.
| Status | Daily Regeneration | Hourly Rate | Maximum Cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Active Premium | 10,000 Focus / 24h | 416.6 Focus / hour | 30,000 Focus (3 days) |
| Non-Premium | 0 Focus | 0 Focus | 0 Focus |
As your character progresses on the Destiny Board, focus costs decrease exponentially according to the official formula:
Actual Focus Cost = Base Focus Cost × 0.5^(Mastery / 10000)
For every 10,000 mastery efficiency points earned, the focus cost of that activity is cut in half:
Efficiency points accumulate from two distinct sources on the Destiny Board:
Reaching 100/100 specialization across an entire line reduces focus costs down to approximately 8–9% of base cost, allowing over 10× more items to be produced per 10,000 focus.
The standard benchmark for evaluating crafting profitability is Silver Per Focus (SPF):
SPF = Net Profit from Focus Usage / Focus Points Spent
• Below 30 SPF: Low efficiency (e.g. low-tier un-enchanted materials).
• 40–70 SPF: Solid daily baseline for high-spec T6/T7 refining.
• 80+ SPF: Exceptional returns, typically found on T8.3/T8.4 gear, high-tier artifact weapons, or Black Market crafting.
